With the spread of electronic administration, it is an increasingly common requirement that certified translations be available not only on paper, but also in electronic form. That is why SOS Fordítóiroda also offers an e-certified translation service to its clients.
What is an e-certified translation?
An e-certified – also known as electronically certified – translation is the electronically transferable version of an official translation. The document:
- confirms the authenticity of the translation and its conformity with the original document
- is prepared in PDF file format
- contains an electronic signature and a timestamp, which guarantee the integrity of the document and the exact time of issue
An e-certified translation can be used both for private individuals and for companies in all cases where the authority or institution accepts an electronic-format certified translation – making it possible to avoid the need for a personal appearance or postal delivery.
Official translation on paper
If the administrative procedure requires a paper-based translation bound with a ribbon in the national colors and provided with an official clause, we also fully undertake this. You may collect the completed document in person at our office, or we can deliver it to you via courier service – both domestically and abroad.
It is important to know that many Hungarian authorities and organizations do not accept exclusively certification issued by OFFI, but also accept translations bearing the official clause of SOS Fordítóiroda. We recommend checking this with the relevant authority before beginning the administrative procedure.
