In the case of certificates, diplomas and other official documents intended for use abroad, preparing the translation alone is often not enough – the document, or the translation itself, may also need further certification. SOS Fordítóiroda provides full support in this process as well.
When is an Apostille needed, and when is notarization required?
Certificates and other documents may be certified either by notarization or by an Apostille certificate, depending on whether the document is needed for private or official purposes, and for domestic or foreign use. Which procedure is required always depends on the specific requirements of the given country and the receiving institution.
We undertake administrative procedures with, among others, the following bodies:
- Hungarian Chamber of Civil Law Notaries
- Ministry of Foreign Affairs
- Educational Authority
This service is particularly useful if you wish to use your certificate, diploma or other document for employment, studies or other official procedures abroad. SOS Fordítóiroda manages the entire process, from preparing the translation to handling the certification procedure, so that you do not need to contact the various authorities individually.
If you are unsure which form of certification applies to your case, ask our colleagues for help – knowing the destination and purpose of the document, we will give you accurate information and start the administrative process.
